This is given by Dr. Handel of Metz, and has obtained
great repute on tiie continent.*
R. Nitrous Ether, - - 5 parts,
Pulvis Aluminas, - - 2 do.
Misce.
This remedy is given from memory, and I think it was
announced to a society of medicine in London by a Dr.
Bkke, and represented as almost infallible in the cure of
odontalgia. I have used it with indifferent success.
R. Camphor,
Opium, a a - - 3i.
Pure Alchohol, q. s. to dissolve the ingredients.
This is a valuable remedy, especially if the tooth-ache is
excited by cold.

R. Antiscorbutic Tincture, -
Pulvis Gallae - - 3iii.
Camphor, - - - 3i.
Best Port Wine, - - ii. lbs.
Misce.—Let it stand in a warm situation three days, and
it will be fit for use.
