xft RECOMMENDATORY NOTICES.
It is well calculated to diffuse knowledge on the important subject of*
which it treats. I am Sir,
Your's, very truly,
RICHARD S. KISSAM, M. D.
S. Spooxer, M. D,
New-York, May 15, 1838.
Dear Sir,—I have examined your " Popular Treatise on the Teeth,"
with great pleasure. It is a work of great importance to the public,
as well as to the Profession ; and I believe that in a very short time it
will be appreciated. Your's, with respect,
A. T. HUNTER, M. D.
S. Spooner, M. D. St. John's Square.
New-York, April 20, 1838.
I have read Dr. Spooner's " Guide to Sound Teeth," with improve-
ment and pleasure. The subject acquires great interest under his
explanations. I was not aware until I had perused the book, that
dentistry, in addition to the delicacy of its operations, united so much
of science, study and skill.
