(d) Mirror.—For reflect-
ing the light into various parts
of the mouth and for reflecting
the images of cavities, filhngs
and other objects in inacces-
sible positions, the mouth
mirror, either plane or magni-
fying is utilized (Fig. ii6).
For general work, the plane
mirror (non-magnifying) is
best, while for examining pur-
poses t]ie concave (magnifying)
mirror may be used.
