I have confidered the qualities of the ingre dients of which this dentifrice is compofed, and have fatisfied myfelf, both by the reafon of the thing, and by experiments made, that it not only poffeffes no noxious articles, but that it is judicioufly adapted, both to remove by gentle attrition, the earthy con cretions which fometimes incruft the teeth, and to deftroy thofe corroding and pernicious acids that fpoil their enamel. I therefore believe the ufe of Mr. Skinner's powder, will be very efficacious in faving the teeth from premature decay; and I fhould be glad to find it generally in ufe. SAMUEL L. MITCHELL. Many perfons who have experienced fuch misfortunes, are either unacquaint of art in imitating the works, and ed with the power remedying the defects of nature : or from the peculi arity of their cafe, doubt the poffibility of obtaining relief. No perfon, however, ought to defpair. They are refpedfully affured, that in any, and every cafe, where there is a deformity occafioned by the lofs of any vifible part of the human body; that fuch deformi ties may be remedied or covered, by fubftituting others equally as natural and beautiful, in appearance, and in cafes but little inferior in ufe, to the original. many
