been accomplished, which is ideal. Yet to fill slightly beyond the
canal by a fraction of a millimeter is a less error than to not en-
tirely fill the canal. The opening of the canal should now be
tamped solid, which process is aided bj' Avarming the protruding
end of the canal point.
Cleanse Pulp Chamber of all traces of gutta-percha and case is
ready for final operation.
The practice of filling pulp cliamhers with gutta-percha in any
form is condemned as it is in no way suitable for the scat of a fill-
ing. Cement, amalgam or tin is preferable.
