forefinger is left free to come forward and assist in holding the foot of the clamp while the set-
screw is tightened \vith the fingers of the right hand. In this ease, the holes in the rubber have not
been cut in the correct position, for it is seen that thu' iijipcr lip will not be covered. Compare with
Figure 99, which is correct.
